Consultant Uro-Oncology Surgeon

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with urological cancers.
• Perform advanced uro-oncological and minimally invasive surgical procedures, including robotic and laparoscopic techniques where applicable.
• Lead outpatient clinics and contribute to diagnostic and treatment pathways.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board (MDT) discussions.
• Collaborate with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Radiology, and other specialties to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide perioperative care and long-term follow-up for oncology patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities.
• Teach and mentor junior physicians, fellows, residents, and medical students.

Requirements

• Medical Degree with completion of an accredited Urology residency program.
• Fellowship/Subspecialty Certification in Uro-Oncology.
• Board Certification (American Board, Canadian Fellowship, CCT, FRACS, European Board, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of post-board Consultant experience preferred.
• Strong experience in complex uro-oncological surgery, including management of prostate, bladder, renal, and testicular malignancies.
• Experience with robotic surgery is highly desirable.
• Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH licensure is highly desirable.
