Consultant Reproductive Medicine & Infertility (IVF)

Responsibilities

* Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with infertility and reproductive health concerns.

* Provide comprehensive fertility consultations and develop individualized treatment plans.

* Manage complex infertility and reproductive medicine cases.

Provide and manage fertility preservation* treatments.

Provide onco-fertility preservation* for patients undergoing or planning cancer treatment.

Perform oocyte pick-up (OPU)* and embryo transfer (ET) procedures within the candidate’s scope of practice.

* Monitor patients throughout IVF and assisted reproductive treatment cycles.

* Counsel patients and couples regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and available alternatives.

* Coordinate care with embryologists, fertility specialists, nurses, oncologists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.

Maintain awareness of and comply with current UAE IVF fertility laws, regulations, and clinical guidelines*.

* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure appropriate patient follow-up.

* Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

Board certification or recognised specialist qualification in Reproductive Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, or Obstetrics & Gynecology with subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine*.

Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience* in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility.

Extensive experience in IVF and assisted reproductive technologies*.

Proven experience in fertility preservation and onco-fertility preservation*.

Strong hands-on experience in OPU and ET*.

Experience managing complex infertility cases*.

Good knowledge of the latest UAE IVF fertility laws and regulations*.

Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, MOHAP*, or the relevant UAE health authority.

Additional Advantage
