We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a broad range of pediatric orthopedic conditions, including congenital deformities, developmental disorders, traumatic injuries, and complex musculoskeletal conditions affecting infants, children, and adolescents.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, utilizing advanced clinical approaches and evidence-based practices to support optimal outcomes for pediatric patients. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage congenital and acquired pediatric musculoskeletal disorders
- Treat pediatric fractures, deformities, limb length discrepancies, and sports-related injuries
- Perform elective and emergency pediatric orthopedic surgeries
- Manage complex spinal, hip, foot, and upper/lower limb conditions in children
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support departmental education, teaching, and service development
- Provide comprehensive perioperative and postoperative care for pediatric orthopedic patients
Qualifications
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship or subspecialty training in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery
- Recognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery
- Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP
