Consultant Pediatric Ophthalmologist

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant in Pediatric Ophthalmology to join a leading tertiary healthcare institution in Al Ain, UAE. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of a wide range of eye conditions in infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring optimal visual development and outcomes.

The role involves managing complex pediatric ophthalmology cases, including strabismus (squint), amblyopia (lazy eye), refractive errors, congenital eye disorders, pediatric retinal conditions, and ocular trauma. The Consultant will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including paediatrics, ophthalmology, neurology, and rehabilitation services to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred care. Responsibilities also include performing diagnostic and therapeutic ophthalmic procedures, contributing to clinical governance, developing care protocols, and supporting quality improvement initiatives within the service in Al Ain.
