Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join a leading tertiary care hospital in Dubai, UAE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. The role includes providing comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care, performing advanced endoscopic procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care within a tertiary healthcare setting.

   Requirments

  • Board Certification in Pediatrics and Gastroenterology (CCT/CCST, FRCPCH, American Board, Canadian Fellowship, FRACP, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of post-specialty Consultant experience
  • Proven expertise in therapeutic paediatric endoscopy and hepatology
  • Ability to manage complex paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutritional cases in infants, children, and adolescents
  • Demonstrated competence in performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures independently
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred care
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and participation in clinical governance activities
