We are seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing pediatric endocrine and metabolic disorders, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive pediatric endocrinology services, managing children and adolescents with a wide range of hormonal, metabolic, and growth-related conditions.
Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of pediatric endocrine and metabolic disorders*.
Manage children with growth and development disorders*.
Diagnose and manage type 1 and type 2 diabetes in children and adolescents*.
Evaluate and manage thyroid disorders*, including congenital and acquired conditions.
Manage disorders of puberty and sexual development*.
* Diagnose and manage adrenal, pituitary, and other endocrine disorders.
* Assess and manage pediatric obesity and metabolic conditions.
* Monitor patients with complex endocrine conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Provide counselling and education to patients, parents, and caregivers.
* Work collaboratively with pediatricians, dietitians, nurses, geneticists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure appropriate patient follow-up.
* Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications
Board certification or recognised specialist qualification in Pediatric Endocrinology*.
Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience* in Pediatric Endocrinology.
* Strong experience in the management of pediatric endocrine and metabolic disorders.
Proven experience in pediatric diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid disorders, and puberty-related conditions*.
* Experience managing complex pediatric endocrine cases is desirable.
Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, MOHAP*, or the relevant UAE health authority.
