We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in high-volume Obstetrics and a commitment to providing safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, with particular emphasis on managing a high volume of deliveries, antenatal care, high-risk pregnancies, and obstetric emergencies.
Responsibilities
* Manage a high volume of obstetric patients across antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
* Provide comprehensive care for normal and high-risk pregnancies.
* Manage labor and delivery, including complex and emergency obstetric cases.
* Assess and manage obstetric complications and emergencies.
* Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing throughout pregnancy and delivery.
* Provide gynecological consultations and management as required.
* Perform obstetric and gynecological procedures within the candidate’s scope of practice.
* Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure appropriate patient follow-up.
* Provide counselling and support to patients regarding pregnancy, delivery, and treatment options.
* Work collaboratively with midwives, nurses, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
* Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications
Tier 1 specialist qualification, American Board (ABMS certification), UK CCT/CCST, Canadian Royal College certification, or equivalent recognised qualification* in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience*.
Proven expertise in high-volume Obstetrics*.
* Strong experience in labor and delivery.
* Experience managing high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.
Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, MOHAP*, or the relevant UAE health authority.
