We are seeking a distinguished Consultant Neurosurgeon to join a progressive clinical environment dedicated to delivering advanced, patient-centred neurosurgical care.
The successful candidate will have extensive expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of complex neurological conditions, providing high-quality neurosurgical services within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurosurgical conditions affecting the brain, spine and peripheral nervous system
- Perform complex neurosurgical procedures, including cranial and spinal surgeries
- Evaluate and manage traumatic, degenerative, vascular and oncological neurosurgical conditions
- Provide surgical management for brain tumours, spinal disorders, cerebrovascular conditions and other complex cases
- Develop personalised, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Perform pre-operative assessments and post-operative patient management
- Participate in clinical governance, audit and quality improvement initiatives
- Support departmental education, teaching and service development
Qualifications
- Board certification in Neurosurgery
- Recognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Neurosurgery
- Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH or MOHAP
