Consultant Medical Oncologist

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Medical Oncologist to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide specialized care for adult oncology patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, chemotherapy management, and follow-up care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of oncology patients.
  • Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines.
  • Manage systemic cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumour board meetings and collaborate with surgical and radiation oncology teams.
  • Monitor treatment outcomes, manage complications, and provide supportive care.
  • Contribute to clinical quality improvement, research activities, and education of medical staff.

   Requirments

  • Board certification or equivalent recognized qualification (American Board, Canadian Board, UK CCT/CCST, European Board, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Medical Oncology.
  • Strong experience in managing a broad range of adult oncology cases.
  • Experience with multidisciplinary cancer care is preferred.
  • Eligible for or holding a valid UAE medical license (DHA/DOH/MOHAP) is preferred.
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
