We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Interventional Cardiologist to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases, with advanced skills in interventional cardiology procedures, coronary interventions, and complex cardiac care.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality cardiovascular services through advanced diagnostic evaluation, evidence-based treatment strategies, and minimally invasive cardiac interventions. This position offers the opportunity to work within a progressive healthcare environment alongside cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the continued development of advanced cardiac care services.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions
- Perform advanced interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
- Manage complex coronary artery disease and acute coronary syndromes
- Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure patient care
- Interpret cardiac investigations, including ECGs, echocardiography, and coronary imaging
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support teaching, training, and departmental education activities where required
Qualifications
- Board certification in Cardiology with fellowship or subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology
- Recognised Tier 1 specialist qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Interventional Cardiology
- Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP
