Consultant Cardiologist

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive General Cardiology* consultations in outpatient and inpatient settings.

* Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.

Conduct cardiovascular health screening and executive health assessments*.

Contribute to the design and development of cardiovascular health packages and screening programmes*.

Perform and interpret ECG, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, and exercise stress testing*.

* Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans for patients.

* Provide counselling on cardiovascular risk factors, prevention, and lifestyle management.

* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure appropriate patient follow-up.

* Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

Board certification or recognised specialist qualification in Cardiology*.

Consultant-level experience in General Cardiology*.

Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience*.

Strong experience in both outpatient and inpatient cardiology*.

Proven experience with ECG, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, and stress testing*.

* Experience in preventive cardiology, health screening, or executive health programmes is desirable.

Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, MOHAP*, or the relevant UAE health authority.
