Consultant Breast Radiologist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret advanced breast imaging, including mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.
• Conduct image-guided breast procedures such as biopsies and localization techniques.
• Lead breast imaging clinics and contribute to diagnostic pathways.
• Participate in multidisciplinary breast tumor board (MDT) meetings.
• Collaborate closely with Breast Surgery, Oncology, Pathology, and Radiation Oncology teams.
• Ensure early detection, accurate diagnosis, and follow-up of breast diseases, including malignancies.
• Participate in quality assurance, clinical audits, and breast cancer screening programs.

Requirements

• Medical Degree with completion of an accredited Radiology residency program.
• Subspecialty Fellowship/Certification in Breast Imaging or Breast Radiology.
• Board Certification (American Board, Canadian Fellowship, CCT, FRCR, European Board, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of post-board Consultant experience preferred.
• Strong expertise in breast imaging and interventional breast procedures.
• Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH licensure is highly desirable.
